How do you design kitchens and spaces?
It starts with understanding how the kitchen will be used—cooking habits, storage needs, and how people move through the space—then organizing key zones like cooking, cleaning, and food prep for efficiency.
We use the client’s idea book and current home aesthetic as key references, translating inspiration images, styles, and preferences into a cohesive, workable design.
How long does the process take?
Every project is different and dependent on space size, sourcing material, and design intricacies. Cabinetry has the longest lead time and pace for the design evolution. Sometimes clients know immediately what they like with our designs, others perseverate and really think things through before making decisions (not a bad thing, we want to make sure you are loving the design). Typically, you can expect the project to be between 3 – 6 months from the time we start the design process to when the project is complete.
Do you have your own contractors?
We do not employ contractors; but we do have an arsenal of contractors that we’ve worked with that we can recommend. The client would hire a contractor separate from us, but we work in tandem with the builder to the project completion. The benefit of this is we are familiar with each other’s work styles making it a seamless process for us.
How much does it cost to redesign a kitchen in New Jersey?
This a tough question, as each project differs greatly in aspects of size, material selections, etc. When we meet with you in your space, we are better able to give you an idea of what to expect based on the space and your ideals.
What if I don’t know exactly what I want?
That is perfectly okay, and what we are here for. Feel free to look through our portfolio to get some ideas for your own home!
Can I provide inspiration photos?
Of course! This is part of our process, what we refer to as a little “homework”. Those photos help us get a general idea of what you want your finished space to look like.
Do I get to pick the material?
Absolutely! We will work together to help you select the materials that best fit with the aesthetic you’re going for. We have a showroom where you’ll be able to see our cabinet manufacturers offerings. When it comes to counters, fixtures, tile etc., we will take you shopping to select material to pull the space together.
Do you help with picking appliances?
Our clients can purchase appliances wherever they choose. We can weigh in on sizes and configurations that would best fit the space, but we defer to the professionals for their expertise.
Do you only remodel kitchens?
While kitchens are our specialty, we also provide design services for bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, home offices and more!
What areas Do You Serve?
Based in Hopewell, we proudly serve clients in Princeton, Montgomery, West Windsor, and Pennington, etc. while also taking on select projects beyond the local area. Our work extends to out-of-state and long-distance projects in New York, Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia.
